I'm sorry that we haven't posted anything in a while now.
We've been on our feet non-stop, trying to see as much of Tokyo as possible and I'm therefore often too tired in the evening to post anything of decent quality.
This is why I've decided to give you a quick recap of the highlights of the last couple of days in the next series of posts.
On Tuesday we went down to Yokohama, where we ambled through Chinatown (we've never seen any place this packed before) and then spent some time at the harbour, especially on the Osanbashi Pier, Yokohama's main international passenger terminal.
Yokohama was the first place the government allowed foreigners to settle after opening the Japanese borders in 1859. Chinese immigrants settled in an area only 500 metres from the harbour, creating what is now known as Yokohama Chinatown - the largest Chinatown in Asia and one of the largest in the world.

Us enjoying a "fish pedicure:
Little fish called Garra Rufa swim around in a tub and nibble away dead skin on your feet. It tickled a little.

The temples are beautiful yet so unfamiliar :)
